About The Client:
Cavo Italian Bar & Bistro is a stylish Italian dining destination in Uluwatu, offering authentic Italian cuisine with a modern bistro concept. As a pre-opening restaurant, Cavo is building a strong kitchen team focused on quality, consistency, and an excellent dining experience.
What You Will Contribute:
As a Steward, you will support kitchen operations by ensuring cleanliness, sanitation, and proper handling of kitchen equipment and utensils. Your role is essential in maintaining hygiene standards and ensuring a smooth and efficient kitchen workflow during the pre-opening and opening phase.
What You Will Do:
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, plates, glasses, and cookware.
- Ensure proper dishwashing procedures in accordance with hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, storage areas, and waste disposal areas.
- Assist in organizing and storing cleaned equipment properly.
- Support kitchen team in maintaining overall cleanliness during operations.
- Dispose of garbage and kitchen waste according to established procedures.
- Assist in receiving and organizing deliveries if required.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Support opening and closing cleaning procedures.
- Perform other stewarding duties as assigned by the Sous Chef or management.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Steward or Kitchen Helper is preferred.
- Basic understanding of hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
- Hardworking, disciplined, and team-oriented.
- Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Available on a daily worker basis as scheduled.
- Pre-opening experience is an advantage.
