Are you a talented Chef de Partie with a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences in a semi-fine or fine dining environment? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our culinary team at Hidden Hills Villas, a family-owned boutique luxury villa resort in Uluwatu, Bali. Our resort is a proud member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, affiliated with Hilton.

ABOUT US:

Nestled in the heart of Bali, our resort features 14 exclusive villas and 22 luxurious rooms. Our on-site restaurant, Hidden Gem, offers an exquisite blend of California and Asian fusion farm-to-table cuisine, complemented by a sophisticated wine program. We’re also excited to unveil our brand-new Hidden Gem Spa this October.

THE ROLE:

We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie who excels in crafting high-quality dishes and leading a team and supporting our Head Chef. This role is pivotal in maintaining the standards of our cuisine, ensuring a seamless operation, and inspiring the kitchen team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead the preparation and presentation of dishes, adhering to the restaurant’s high standards.

Collaborate closely with the Head Chef to develop and execute innovative menu items.

Ensure your kitchen operates efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized workspace in line with health and safety regulations.

Mentor and guide junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and professional work environment.

Contribute to menu planning, bringing creative ideas and seasonal inspirations to the table.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Chef de Partie role, with a strong background in Western and Asian cuisines.

Proven ability to manage a station in a busy kitchen environment, maintaining quality under pressure.

Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with a commitment to excellence in culinary execution.

Conversational English required, with a willingness to improve communication skills further.

A passion for food, creativity, and a keen eye for detail.
