Responsibilities:
- Lead full kitchen setup and pre-opening execution
- Develop menus, recipes, and kitchen SOPs aligned with concept
- Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and portion control
- Oversee kitchen operations across multiple restaurant units
- Manage, train, and develop kitchen team (Sous Chef, CDP, Commis)
- Monitor food cost, inventory, and kitchen efficiency
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and compliance
- Collaborate with management on menu innovation and business growth
Requirements
- Proven experience as Head Chef (pre-opening experience is a strong advantage)
- Fluent in english
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Experience handling multi-outlet or high-volume kitchen operations
- Solid understanding of food cost control and kitchen budgeting
- Creative mindset with strong menu development skills
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP preferred)
- Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Based in Bali or willing to relocate to Ubud
