About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, technically capable, and proactive Engineering Staff to support the maintenance and daily operation of all building facilities, equipment, and utility systems at ZIN Canggu.

This role is responsible for ensuring that all facilities and equipment remain safe, functional, and well-maintained, while responding quickly to technical issues that may affect guest comfort and daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Perform daily inspection and maintenance of hotel facilities, equipment, and utility systems.

Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance according to the maintenance schedule.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and technical issues from all departments.

Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical, air-conditioning, and building-related issues.

Monitor the condition and operation of key equipment and building systems.

Conduct regular checks of electrical systems, water supply, pumps, air-conditioning, lighting, and other utilities.

Ensure guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, and operational facilities are maintained in good working condition.

Record maintenance activities, repairs, equipment conditions, and technical issues accurately.

Identify potential equipment failures or safety risks and report them to the Engineering Supervisor or Manager.

Assist with preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment breakdowns and operational disruptions.

Maintain proper use, storage, and condition of engineering tools and equipment.

Support contractors and external technicians during maintenance, repair, or installation work.

Ensure all engineering work follows safety procedures and company standards.

Assist with energy and utility monitoring to support efficient operational costs.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of engineering areas, workshops, and equipment rooms.

Respond to emergency technical situations and provide immediate support when required.

Support renovation, installation, and improvement projects as assigned by the Engineering team.

Perform other engineering and maintenance duties as required by the Engineering Supervisor or Management.

Who You Are

Has experience in hotel, resort, building maintenance, or a similar engineering environment.

Has basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, air-conditioning, and general building maintenance.

Able to troubleshoot and resolve basic technical problems effectively.

Understands basic workplace safety and engineering procedures.

Responsible, disciplined, and able to respond quickly to operational needs.

Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying potential technical issues.

Able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Good communication skills and able to coordinate with different departments.

Physically fit and comfortable performing hands-on maintenance work.

Flexible to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and emergency call-outs when required.
