MEP Engineering (Maintenance Staff)

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on MEP systems, including HVAC, Water Pumps, Plumbing, Electrical panels, and Lighting.
  • Inspect villas and public areas regularly to identify maintenance issues and take corrective action.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems promptly to minimize service disruptions.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Assist with minor installations, adjustments, and set-ups of equipment or systems as required.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals, work orders, and technical drawings to perform required tasks.
  • Report recurring or significant maintenance issues to the Engineering Supervisor or Operations Manager.
  • Support other engineering staff (Civil, Pool attendant) with technical expertise when needed.
  • Maintain workshop areas, tools, and equipment in clean and organized condition.
  • Respond efficiently and professionally to maintenance requests in guest rooms, public spaces, and staff areas.
  • Assist in villa handovers by checking and documenting the condition of MEP systems.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies, hygiene standards, and emergency procedures.
  • Participate in departmental training and provide technical guidance to junior engineering staff when required.
  • Perform other duties and special projects assigned by the Engineering Supervisor or Operations Manager.

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Technician or Engineer in hospitality or property management.
  • Diploma or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, water supply, and plumbing systems.
  • Ability to read and apply technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks and work in varied conditions.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and handle emergency call-outs.
