We are seeking an experienced Butler/Waiter with a strong background in fine dining, wine, and Western cuisine to join our team at Hidden Gem, the signature restaurant of Hidden Hills Villas, a family-owned boutique luxury villa resort in Uluwatu, Bali. Our resort is a proud member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, affiliated with Hilton.

ABOUT US:

Located in beautiful Bali, our resort features 14 exclusive villas with 22 luxurious rooms. Hidden Gem offers an exquisite dining experience with California-inspired farm-to-table cuisine, complemented by a carefully curated wine selection, including one of Bali�s largest wine-by-the-glass offerings. We�re also excited to open our brand-new Hidden Gem Spa this October.

THE ROLE:

We are looking for a skilled Butler/Waiter who is not only passionate about fine dining and wine but also has the experience to deliver top-tier service in a luxury environment. This role is integral to ensuring that our guests enjoy a seamless and elevated dining experience. With your expertise, you will enhance our guests� stay by providing personalized service that exceeds expectations and by creating once-in-a-lifetime experiences. You will be required to be trained extensively in wine, so a keen interest in the world of wine is needed for any applicant.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide attentive, personalized service to guests, ensuring their needs are met with discretion and efficiency.

Serve meals and beverages to guests with impeccable timing and presentation.

Offer expert advice on wine pairings and menu selections, enhancing the overall dining experience.

Assist in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization within the dining areas and kitchen.

Act as a concierge, offering knowledgeable recommendations about local attractions, dining, and activities.

Build strong guest relations, ensuring every guest feels valued and attended to, with a flair for creating unforgettable experiences.

Continuously learn about our menu, wine offerings, and service standards to provide the best possible experience for our guests.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a waiter or butler in a luxury hotel, fine dining, or semi-fine dining, hotspot restaurant.

Extensive knowledge of wine and Western cuisine, with a genuine passion for both.

Strong communication and salesmanship skills, with the ability to confidently upsell and recommend menu items.

Ability to work well in a team and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Good conversational English skills required, with a willingness to improve.
