Key Responsibilities

  • Draft commercial contracts and legal documents in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Prepare, update, and maintain standard contract templates and legal documentation.
  • Provide legal support to internal stakeholders on contractual and corporate matters.
  • Ensure contracts and legal documents comply with applicable Indonesian laws and company policies.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel, notaries, consultants, and government authorities when required.
  • Organize and maintain the company's legal filing system, both physical and electronic, ensuring all documents are properly stored and easily retrievable.
  • Maintain and update the company's legal database and data room, ensuring all executed agreements, amendments, corporate documents, licenses, permits, and supporting legal records are uploaded, categorized, and kept up to date.
  • Maintain a contract register and monitor contract status, key dates, expirations, renewals, and other contractual obligations.
  • Provide administrative support for document execution, legalization, notarization, filing, and record management.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda when required.
  • Assist with corporate legal documentation, regulatory compliance, and company secretarial matters.
  • Support legal due diligence exercises and document collection for corporate transactions.
  • Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of all legal documents and sensitive company information.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law (S.H.).
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in legal administration, contract management, or commercial contract drafting.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Good understanding of Indonesian contract law and corporate law.
  • Experience drafting and reviewing commercial agreements.
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and document management skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Previous experience in an in-house legal department.
  • Previous working experience at a notary office in Bali is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with PMA companies and Indonesian corporate documentation.
  • Experience handling contracts related to property, construction, hospitality, real estate, or investment projects.
  • Experience working with foreign investors and international stakeholders.
  • Experience maintaining legal databases, document repositories, or virtual data rooms.
