Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Seminyak for a Sous Chef Pastry. The Sous Chef Pastry will be responsible for assisting the Pastry Chef in managing the pastry section of the kitchen, preparing and baking a variety of pastries, supervising junior chefs, coordinating with other departments in the kitchen, and ensuring the highest quality of food and service.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or Sous Chef Pastry or similar experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Excellent knowledge of pastry techniques, measurements, and kitchen equipment.

Ability to develop and maintain standardized recipes, food safety standards, and quality control methods.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team-oriented environment, and ability to supervise and train junior chefs.

Strong time management skills, ability to multitask, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Fluency in English is preferred.

A degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or Pastry is preferred but not required.
