Information Technology (IT)

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.

2. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a similar position.

3. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and other Office tools), webmail applications, hotel management systems, and other computer software relevant to the role and responsibilities.

4. Good understanding of hotel products, services, operational standards, and facilities.

Tasks & Responsibilities

1. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the hotel's products, services, packages, promotions, and pricing.

2. Manage the organization's Information Technology (IT) infrastructure and computer systems.

3. Plan, organize, monitor, and evaluate IT operations and digital data management.

4. Design, develop, implement, and coordinate IT systems, policies, procedures, and best practices.

5. Ensure the security of data, network access, and backup systems.

6. Align IT solutions with user requirements and system functionality to support organizational objectives and policies.

7. Identify system issues and implement timely and effective strategic solutions.

8. Conduct system audits and evaluate performance to ensure optimal functionality.

9. Safeguard IT assets, information security, and internal control systems.

10. Ensure cost-effective utilization of IT infrastructure, hardware, software, and related resources.

11. Communicate effectively, negotiate professionally, and resolve conflicts when necessary.

12. Prepare work plans, schedules, and allocate tasks to ensure efficient operations.

13. Prepare and deliver presentations, technical briefings, and staff training programs.

14. Perform all duties in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and utilize designated tools and equipment appropriately.
