- Kids Club Attendant
- Public Area & Playground Attendant
Job Description: Playground Attendants supervise and ensure safety at recreational facilities. Responsibilities include monitoring activities, enforcing rules, maintaining equipment, and providing first aid if necessary.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Ensure the safety of children on the playground by monitoring their activities and intervening when necessary.
- Organize and lead games and activities for children on the playground.
- Keep the playground clean and free of debris, litter and hazardous items.
- Interact with parents and caregivers to ensure they are informed of playground rules and regulations.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as sweeping, raking, and picking up trash.
- Report any damages or safety hazards to the appropriate supervisor.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of equipment and materials for events and activities on the playground.
Requirements:
- Experience in working with children in a recreational setting.
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and other staff members
- Knowledge of safety procedures and emergency protocols for playgrounds
- Physical fitness and ability to perform the physical tasks required for maintaining and supervising the playground.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to problem-solve and handle conflict resolution among children.
- Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness and organization of the playground area.
- Able to join immediately.
