About The Role:
Assembles recorded footage into a finished project that matches brand and company vision and is suitable for publishing. Creates visual content that showcases the company's amenities, events, and ambiance. The role involves collaborating with photographers/videographers and content creators to select and enhance the best shots and footage, ensuring they align with the brand's branding and messaging, brings out the uniqueness of the beach club and the excitement of the activities, creating compelling photo slideshows, video montages, and promotional clips. Attention to detail and creativity will be crucial in producing high-quality content that engages the company's target audience across various platforms, from social media channels to marketing materials and advertising campaigns. Keeps updated on industry trends and editing software advancements will continually elevate the brand's visual presence and attract guests seeking unforgettable beach experiences.
Core Work Activities:
- Trim and edit video recordings into appropriate segments, removing unwanted sections.
- Combine images and audio seamlessly to create balanced and engaging videos.
- Adjust color, lighting, and visual effects to enhance the visual quality of videos.
- Incorporate necessary special effects, animations, and graphics.
- Edit and synchronize audio with images to achieve optimal results.
- Create smooth transitions between video scenes and segments.
- Record and edit narration, music, and sound effects.
- Collaborate with other creative team members, such as directors, content creators, and graphic designers, to achieve the desired project vision.
- Coordinate with the team to determine photography requirements.
- Review and edit photos, making necessary adjustments.
- Select images for publication, in coordination with the creative team.
- Ensure all assignments are completed and edited on time for publishing.
- Utilize photo editing tools to achieve the highest quality.
- Ensure proper use of photo equipment and order supplies as needed.
- Communicate with the Creative Director and the team to provide guidance on future projects.
Key Requirements:
- English Proficiency: Intermediate verbal skills and written skills are required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a photo and video editor or in a similar role.
- Proficiency: Mastery of video and photo editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Lightroom.
- Creativity: Strong creative skills with the ability to enhance visual content and create captivating videos and images that showcase the beach club's atmosphere and offerings.
- Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure high-quality output and consistency in visual content.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaboration: Capability to collaborate effectively with photographers, videographers, and other team members to achieve the desired project vision.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements while maintaining a high standard of work.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to convey ideas, provide feedback, and collaborate with team members and clients effectively.
- Knowledge of Beach Club Industry: Familiarity with the beach club industry and an understanding of its aesthetic and branding requirements is advantageous.
