Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests in a warm, elegant, and professional manner, reflecting the restaurant’s brand image.
• Manage reservations accurately using the reservation system (online platforms, booking book, or POS system).
• Organize table allocation strategically based on service flow, guest preferences, and VIP arrangements.
• Handle waiting lists efficiently while maintaining clear and courteous communication.
• Coordinate closely with the Restaurant Manager, Captain, and service team regarding VIP guests, special occasions, and dietary requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and aesthetic presentation of the host desk and entrance area.
• Handle initial guest concerns or complaints calmly before escalating to management when necessary.
• Possess thorough knowledge of the restaurant concept, menu highlights, special promotions, and basic wine pairing to assist guests confidently.
• Maintain impeccable grooming and adhere strictly to fine dining etiquette standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum high school diploma; Hospitality or Hotel Management degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in field a fine dining restaurant or five-star hotel.
• Professional demeanor.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English (mandatory); additional languages are a plus.
• Understanding of hospitality etiquette and table management.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
• Service-oriented mindset with attention to detail and guest satisfaction.
