Vacancy: Head Therapist

We are seeking an exceptional Head Therapist to join our spa team and take a leading role in maintaining and elevating our treatment standards.

Job Summary

The Head Therapist will be responsible for overseeing the performance and development of all therapists, ensuring every treatment is delivered with excellence, consistency, and genuine care. This role is central to upholding the quality of our guest experience and supporting the continuous growth of the team.

This position requires a strong background in both hands-on therapy and team leadership. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of the body, massage techniques, facials, and wellness treatments, and is confident in using that expertise to improve existing treatments, develop new concepts, and train therapists to perform at the highest level.

In addition to managing and mentoring the team, the Head Therapist will also work operationally as a therapist, providing treatments to guests and setting the standard through their own work.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Lead, monitor, and support the performance of the therapist team

• Train new staff and upskill current team members where needed

• Ensure all treatments are delivered to the highest possible standard

• Maintain consistency, technique, and service excellence across the spa

• Help develop, refine, and improve treatment offerings

• Bring innovative ideas for new treatments based on strong technical knowledge and industry experience

• Act as both a team leader and a hands-on therapist

• Support a culture of professionalism, care, and continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a senior therapist, trainer, or spa management role

• Previous working experience overseas is highly preferred

• Experience working in a luxury spa environment is essential

• Strong background in spa treatments, body therapies, facials, and wellness

• Broad and in-depth knowledge of anatomy, treatment methods, and guest care

• Experience in training, coaching, and managing therapists

• Ability to lead by example while remaining hands-on in operations

• High standards, strong attention to detail, and a passion for excellence
