Senior Accountant

Responsibility

•  Managing the full accounting cycle including financial reporting
• Preparing accurate and timely financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to support decision-making
• Implementing and maintaining robust financial controls and processes to ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Analyzing financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance and support strategic initiatives
• Supervising and developing the accounting team to ensure high levels of productivity and performance

Qualifications

• 3+ years of post-qualification experience in a similar role
• Proficient in using accounting software and data analysis tools (Mews POS, Mews PMS, Xero) most preferred
• In-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations and industry legislation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with all levels
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
